I knew the Goose couldn't stay gone too long. Right after posting the last about him and the new baby, Bananas started calling. The Goose answered and Target the one eyed cat pinpointed him. He was under the china cabinet. Don't know how, why or the gory details, but he flitted out, flew to a fan blade and took a look around. Seeing it was safe to come home he headed for the cage. I opened the door and in he went. Everyone is happily setting on the post preening away. He only lost one feather that I found and that was from coming out from under the cabinet. Tight sqeeze you see.
Glad you are home Goose. I was missing your calls.

To the public they are polite, helpful, caregiving young people. But.... when the world doesn't need saving they are off on an adventure that would make any mom shiver. Most times I stay in the dark so I can keep my heart out of my throat. Always ready with bandage and ice, I keep my gas tank full and ready to head to the hospital.

Tuesday Jan 22,2006 I love the way this word sounds. So mysterious. Holding such big expectations of adventure. Much like I like to face life. Head on, full speed into a world of surprizes around the corner, always interesting, never dull, mundane. Never just one day after another. The type of life where you fall into bed at night exahusted. With a smile on your face, and a dream in your heart, and your last whispered wish being 'Hurry up tomorrow!'.
